Located in Tualatin, Oregon, Horizon Christian High School is Portland's newest option for a quality high school education.
Horizon Christian High School is dedicated to the development of each student in five key areas; Academic, Athletic, Activities, Arts, Attitude.
Our students will be given a Christ centered educational experience that will:
- Help each student have clarity and confidence about their future direction, whether in the marketplace, in college or vocational school;
- Strengthen their self image by giving them a better understanding of their unique design in God;
- Learn to appreciate and respect other people and grow in their relationship with God.
Important First Year Facts About H.C.H.S.
High School Enrollment was 72 students:
- 62% of our students made "Honor Roll" first semester; 11 earned 4.0; 16 earned 3.0 and above.
- First year athletics included: Football, Girls Soccer, Cross Country, Cheerleading, Boys and Girls Basketball teams, Baseball, Softball and Track.
- Horizon Hawks will compete 2007-2008 in the West Valley 3A League and be fully recognized as an OSAA School.
- HCHS Choir has performed at numerous events and the Arts Elective classes are producing incredible talents!
